At waiz we guarantee that users move in an environment of absolute security, as the application operates under the license of the National Bank based on current legislation and in accordance with the European Directive PSD2 (Payment Service Directive 2). PSD2 allows payment institutions or fintechs to collect information about their payment account details and present it to them through their applications through the consent of users.



At waiz we meet all the specifications and requirements of the legislation as defined by the current legal and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data and thus provide our users with security of banking specifications. All data is encrypted with the best available technology (2048-bit encryption keys), while complying with all security protocols required by the European and the domestic legislation. The connection with your bank for the extraction of information or the initiation of payments is done through accredited and secure APIs and the data you see on the waiz screen are sent to us by your bank after your identification. Additionally, when initiating payments, in addition to your identification by your bank, the completion of transactions requires Strong Customer Authentication.


At waiz we do not have access to your bank credentials with your identification being done in the environment of your bank. The data we collect from banks is only what you see when using the application, which is neither sold, nor used for commercial purposes. At the same time, the maintenance of money transfer data follows the framework of the Greek Legislation.
